Association

The organisational form of the Nature Park Weißbach is a non-profit association, which was founded in January 2008. The goals of the association are manifold and all serve the preservation and sustainable development of the particularly charming cultural landscape with its typical elements. Together with the people of Weißbach, old traditions are preserved and new projects are developed as well as landscape conservation and design measures are undertaken in order to increase the experience, educational and recreational value for the people in the Nature Park area as well as for visitors. In addition to representatives of the participating Nature Park communities Weißbach and St. Martin, the board includes above all the landowners in order to maintain the active participation from the planning process.
